Medieval Shores of Montenegro

Shot in late September along the shores of the Bay of Kotor, this 35mm series captures the slow rhythm of the Adriatic as summer quietly fades into autumn. Days were long and sun-drenched, the light still blazing through the peak afternoon hours, while evenings cooled into a calm stillness as the waters settled like glass beneath the surrounding mountains.

Staying in a charming seaside house with a garden spilling toward the shore, each morning opened onto views of Dobrota Bay and the ancient walls of Kotor rising dramatically into the hills. Wandering through the old town felt like stepping through layers of history, stone streets, quiet squares, and fortifications cascading above, holding centuries within them. These frames capture Montenegro at its most peaceful; where sea, mountains, and time move slowly together.
