Antibes, with its antique ambiguity, drew me into narrow streets, sunlit plazas, and bustling marchés where the rhythm of daily life felt unhurried. Rainy, hazy mornings and golden afternoons lent the town a timeless warmth, inviting wandering and discovery.

Nice, perched above the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea, felt like a city of royalty with grand avenues and seaside promenades shimmering in soft autumn light.
